If you ever visit Toronto, then Niagara Falls day trip is a Must! In fact, just 1,5 hour drive west on QEW highway will get you to this little fun town on Canadian-American border! The falls are actually have an American and a Canadian side (of course the Canadian one is cooler one, sorry American boys and girls, but we all know, it is the truth).
Visiting the falls is always impressive, as their strength and majesty are truly breathtaking!! In winter the atmosphere by the falls is just magical, as everything appears iced and frozen, except this powerful body of water! π
However, even on warmer days, the air by the falls is very humid and cold, so make sure to dress warm! Most importantly do not forget your hat, scarf and gloves, especially if you want to take some photos! π·ππ
In fact, bring a selfie stick for even better photos! However, the parching by the falls is $5/half an hour, which should be enough for your walk and photos! Later, you can go up in town and come back for night view, when the falls are lit up in different colours! πππππ
After visiting the falls you should go for a walk on the strip, where you can find a number of museums (like Madame Trudeau Wax Museum, World’s Record Museum), game parks, haunted houses, restaurants and gift shops! You can also visit one of two Casinos, if you are into gambling!
Whether, I am visiting the falls, chilling among light figures or shopping in gift stores, I just love going to Niagara for a day trip! πΒ Yes, you usually have to drag me back home, because I can always find something else to see!
Ever since I remember, however, our family Niagara Falls trips ended with MacDonald’s (yes, those junk food traditions, one cannot break)! Soo, we could not do it any different even this time and after some fries and burgers drove back to Toronto all full and satisfied!
Great Post
Thanks π
