Recently Sara Sampaio, the Portuguese Victoria Secret and Calzedonia model, has been a victim of bulling and evil comments about her being skinny figure and how she needs to eat!
So Sara posted this photo and comment on her facebook page:
I’m proud of my body and I’m not gonna let any of you bully me just because I’m skinny! Every body is different, and every metabolism is different! I eat a lot, so next time u decide to tell me to eat a burger remember I probably eat more burgers than you, I’ve always been skinnier, and probably will always be, I workout, I’m healthy and I’m happy! The amount of hate I see thrown at me and to other model friends that I know are naturally skinny it’s ridiculous! U don’t see us shaming unshape bodies so please don’t come and shame ours! Be happy with ur body and stop shaming others! Weather they are skinny, fat, fit, with big boobs, small boobs etc! Don’t share hate! Be happy 😎
When I re-posted this on my facebook page and comments like: ‘give her a sandwich’, etc, went floating in and surprisingly haters were mostly men! This made me really mad, because all my life I got tons comments like:
‘Oh yes, you are very pretty, but too skinny! You should eat more!’..
and that was some people’s idea of being friendly! Therefore, I though what if I would say to someone:
‘Oh, you are very pretty, but too chubby! You should eat less!’ ..
What do you think the reaction would be? Would it be considered normal? I don’t think so, because it would be RUDE!
Fortunately, I never classified people as skinny or chubby or fat! 🙂
Unfortunately, this story didn’t end here and haters had more to say, so if you want to get the full story check out this article on ‘daily mail UK’ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2836011/Victoria-s-Secret-model-Sara-Sampaio-hits-body-bullies-shares-sexy-bikini-photo-Instagram.html
