Vintage Inspired Looks with Little hats, Gloves and Fur are always fun and perfect for Weddings!

I love thirties and forties inspired looks for special occasions, like weddings or formal celebrations!  You can always wear out your pretty dress on any night out, but in these occasions you really can have fun being creative! 😉

Yes, I just love pulling out my vintage little gloves, colorful fur accessories and what girl didn’t envy Brit ladies those fun, crazy hats!  Lately, I go to all the weddings dressed vintage chic (what bride can blame you for being chic, while she gets to be the beautiful star)! ❤

Here, I wore a simple black dress and accessorized it with color (yes, brightening up an outfit with colorful accessories is what I love).  Try to choose your accessory in contrasting colors (like my pink flower hat and petroleum green Rinascimento faux fur vest) or complementary colors, but avoid matching (forget what mama said about having to wear the same color shoes, purse, etc – those rules no longer apply)!

If you are wearing a hat and gloves, keep your jewelry to a minimum!  I choose to wear an important snake bracelet, but nothing else (no rings, earrings or necklaces), otherwise you outfit will end up being a costume!

If your accessories are already excessive, choose a neutral shoe to compliment the dress, like these Sergio Rossi black and grey pumps (I personally love these shoes and they practically go with everything).chic wedding look with a black dress and vintage accessories

All dressed and ready, now don’t forget to carry it all high, because if you dress like a sexy vintage babe, you have to act like one, too!  ❤

Thanks to Michele Rosata for the photographic collaboration! 🙂
